Top Gear China
Well, we’re assuming Top Gear China has launched. Or at least they’ve had a crack with a pilot episode, fifteen minutes of which you can see in the video below. We’re struggling to work out the banter, but we think we’ve got figured a chunk of the content.
The new Kia Sorento, revealed ahead of its debut in Paris
We got a tease for the 2015 Kia Sorento last month with Kia revealing the new Sorento gets a slightly more sporting look with a lower roofline, higher beltline, sculptured body surfaces and a new ‘Tiger Nose’ grill. Now, with the new Sorento due to debut in South Korea later this month – and in Europe at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October – Kia has revealed the first photos of the new Sorento. The new Sorento looks a decent effort, and the styling is certainly more appealing, despite elements carried over from the current Sorento, but there’s certainly influences from Kia’s Cross GT Concept.
The Vauxhall Astra GTC gets the new 1.6 litre CDTi
Just like all major motor manufacturers, Vauxhall are busy improving their engine range with new, more efficient and more powerful lumps. One of Vauxhall’s major engine projects has been to get the old 1.7 litre CDTi out of its cars and replace it with their new ‘Whisper’ 1.6 litre CDTi. The first Vauxhall to get the new 1.6 CDTi was the Zafira Tourer in early 2013, and the latest is the Astra GTC.
